Steve is one of our BJJ / MMA trainers.
Steve’s journey through the world of Martial Arts started in 2011 when he had the opportunity to discover and develop his potential as a martial arts practitioner and instructor. During these years of hard work and commitment to continuous learning, Steve acquired coaching experience in Japanese Jujitsu, Self Defence, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. Additionally to his belt ranks, he was awarded a NCAS Coach Jujutsu from Australian Sports Commission.
Steve is also First Aid & Resus trained and has a Blue Card issued by the Commission for Children and Young People.
For Steve, Martial Arts and fitness is a lifestyle and a passion that has taken him to win multiple medals for both BJJ and No-Gi competitions. Steve’s goal is to compete at elite level.
Steve is a leg lock advocate and wants a complete game. Steve’s grappling game is both wrestling based and BJJ. He also has incorporated leg locks, knee bars, toe holds and heel hooks to have a complete game.
